Every engagement is quoted as a fixed build fee split across four milestones. You never pay for work before it's been done.
The build fee is fixed at the proposal stage. If scope changes, we scope the change separately before doing the work. You'll never receive an invoice you weren't expecting.

Every engagement includes an ongoing monthly retainer that covers everything it takes to keep your automation running and improving.
Hosting and infrastructure

AI API costs
Claude, OpenRouter, and any other AI API usage is passed through at cost plus a 15% management markup, billed monthly. No surprise API bills.
Maintenance and tuning
AI prompts need tuning as models update. Third-party integrations change their APIs. Edge cases surface after launch. We handle all of it.
MRR is month-to-month. Most clients move to an annual commitment after seeing the system run — annual commits include a 10% discount.

Do I own the code?+
Yes. You own your business-specific implementation outright. We retain ownership of the reusable engineering patterns we bring to every project — that's what lets us deliver quality work at these prices. You get a perpetual license to use our components as part of your system.
What happens if I want to cancel the monthly retainer?+
Month-to-month means you can cancel with 30 days notice. If you cancel, you receive a full handoff package: your codebase, documentation, deployment instructions, and 30 days of transition support at $200/hour. Everything you need to hand it to another developer or run it yourself.
Can you integrate with the tools I already use?+
Most likely yes. We've integrated with Gmail, Outlook, Google Sheets, Square, Stripe, Calendly, HubSpot, Slack, and most major tools via their APIs. The discovery call is where we confirm this — if your tool has an API, we can almost certainly connect to it.
How is this different from using Zapier or Make?+
Zapier and Make are no-code tools that connect apps with simple if-then rules. They're good for basic routing. We build AI into the workflow so it's actually thinking at each step — qualifying leads, drafting responses, making decisions based on context — not just moving data from A to B. And unlike Zapier, we own and manage the infrastructure so you're not building on a platform that can change pricing or terms.
What AI models do you use?+
Primarily Anthropic's Claude (Haiku for speed, Sonnet for quality). We select the right model for each task based on cost, speed, and accuracy requirements. The model choice is part of the proposal and can be adjusted over time.
Do I need a technical background to use this?+
No. We build the interface to match your comfort level. Non-technical clients get simple dashboards and clear outputs. More technical clients can have direct access to logs, configurations, and raw outputs. The discovery call helps us understand which you prefer.
What if the problem is bigger than we thought during the build?+
Fixed pricing means fixed pricing. If we underestimate scope, that's on us — we deliver what we quoted. If you add something new mid-build, we scope it as a separate change order before doing the work. You'll always know what you're agreeing to before work begins.
